The Live Portrait Experience
Each guest’s portrait is a personal, memorable experience. In just a few minutes, I create a hand-drawn illustration that captures their essence, complete with a custom typewritten name to make it truly special.
For individuals, I spend around 7 minutes per portrait, offering them a quick yet intimate moment as they watch their likeness take shape.
For couples, the process takes a little longer—about 10 minutes—as I capture the connection between them.
This translates to roughly 8 individual portraits or 6 couple portraits per hour, balancing speed with the care needed to ensure each one is unique and memorable.

Pricing & Booking Information

• $100/hour
  This rate covers travel (within 30 miles of Central Oregon), equipment, and material preparation. Travel rate available!
• $50 set-up fee
• Post-Event Non-Creative Work (e.g. scanning, archiving) is available at $50/hour if needed.

Booking & Payment

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due one week before the event.
  I’ll keep you updated on the process to make sure everything flows smoothly!

Event Set-Up

• I will arrive early to set up, with guidance from the host or planner to ensure everything is in place before guests arrive.
• The area should have good, even lighting (no harsh shadows) and be mindful of moisture and temperature—warmer environments are preferred for my materials to work best.
• A quiet space is ideal for focus, but I don't need complete isolation—a comfortable corner will do just fine!

What I Bring

• Working surface
• Two stools (for me and the guest)
• Typewriter
• Portrait kit: watercolor templates, paints, pens, and everything else I need to create beautiful portraits!
