Calling for Submissions: Patchwork #3 (Fall 2025) Theme: Rites of Passage
Patchwork is a quarterly zine housed within Invisible Thread Events, an initiative dedicated to cultivating community through safer, intimate spaces that empower creatives. Each issue of Patchwork is hyper-local and seasonally reflective, centered around a specific theme. This fall’s theme, Rites of Passage, invites you to explore major life transitions—moments that mark a before and after. Merriam-Webster defines a rite of passage as “a ritual, event, or experience that marks or constitutes a major milestone or change in a person’s life.” From birth to death, and everything in between, these turning points can be ceremonial or quiet, communal or deeply personal.
