Second edition with new 2024 preface

Fighting with Demons was a publishing endeavor I undertook with artist friends in 2012 to engage with the nature of demons in however they manifest.

The publication covered topics in visual, prose, and comic form touching on possessed places, objects, people, ankles, and explores the entanglements of mental illness. We also have some sage advice reckoning with such forces (thank you Girl Kaycee).

The publication culminated into two events.

One being a clutch of typewriters at the Workhouse table collecting open-submissions during a last Saturday.

The second a publishing debut at Tin Pan Theater which hosted music, readings, and a monologue by Derek Sitter that almost set the house on fire.
